U-turn Homeless Ministries is a Christian Non-Profit organisation founded in 1997. They believe that the world will be a better place for everyone, if homeless people are assisted to become WHOLE again! Wholeness, not merely in financial or physical ways, but also in relations, spiritual and self-esteem. This is possible with the right help and support. They know that this is an ambitious task and that it cannot be achieved on its own and for that reason, they cherish, cultivate and actively pursue effective partnerships.
In a thriving society, everyone should be able to work and be meaningful. The U-turn Life change programme is overseen by Occupational Therapists and are designed to inculcate a healthy work ethic, furnish modern job skills and give 12 – 18 months of real work experience.
Bring all these values together, their motto rings forth: WORKING TOGETHER TO BRING WHOLENESS TO THE HOMELESS.
