HOME MADE TOMATO SAUCE

HOME MADE TOMATO SAUCE

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 onion
  • 4 Tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cans diced tomatoes
  • 2 small cans tomato paste
  • Few tablespoons chopped parsley
  • 1 clove crushed garlic
  • 1 teas dried oregano or sweet basil
  • Half cup white wine
  • Salt and pepper to taste

 

METHOD:

  • Blitz all ingredients except onion and olive oil in food processor.
  • Fry onion in olive oil then add blended ingredients. 
  • Simmer for about 30 minutes. 

 

Sauce freezes well.
