Modest rose is a modesty friendly clothing business based in Strandfontein and Claremont, Cape Town.

I started my business in 2020 a few months after I graduated from Fashion design school, I always knew that I wanted to own my own clothing business since a young age.

I started off with selling scrunchies as a way to rid of scraped fabrics I had laying around, the outcome was so great I continued and eventually I was able to start producing modest friendly clothing.

I’ve also now been able to expand my business to other hair accessories like alice bands and claw clips

Now my scrunchies are made with all the scrap fabrics from clothing orders that I have and is also one of my most popular items that are sold, you can find our scrunchies in store at The Co-op store based in Claremont.
