FIDELITY ADT OFFICERS SHOT
Norgarb Properties and Harfield Village Online are deeply shocked and saddened by the events in which two Fidelity ADT armed response officers were attacked (on Saturday, 23 July 2022).
One officer sustained fatal injuries when he was attacked in Upper Claremont, while a fellow officer is making a good recovery after he was also attacked that night in Harfield Village.
We join our fellow residents in extending our deepest condolences to the family, friends, and colleagues of the officer who died while protecting us. We wish his colleague a speedy recovery.
If you have any information that can help in the police investigation into these two heinous attacks, we ask that you contact Claremont SAPS.
Police are investigating cases of murder, attempted murder, and robbery.
Witnesses to either of the incidents are asked to please contact Detective WO Witbooi on 079 894 0144 or Detective WO Tukawyo on 079 894 1564.
DONATIONS FOR FIDELITY ADT OFFICERS
The HVCID has set up a BackaBuddy crowdfunding campaign, to collect funds in the form of donations for both of the Fidelity ADT officers who were shot so as to assist both families during this difficult time.
These Fidelity ADT officers patrol our streets day and night to keep us safe, so we urge you to please make a donation if you can, every little bit will help.
The Back a Buddy Campaign will close on Sunday 7 August 2022. But the HVCID account will still take donations after Sunday. Find out more here.

This is the second time that the Papa Paul’s Halloween Party will be presented at Marsh Memorial Home in Rondebosch.
