Curry Quest was established in 2004 by a Durban-born couple who relocated to Cape Town in order for their young daughter to receive a liver transplant.

During the first year of their relocation Vani and Kevin were unable to find Durban curries in the Cape. The stay-at-home mum decided to return to work after their daughters successful liver transplant and the beginning of Curry Quest, their own Durban Curry Restaurant was imminent.

Since then, 15 years on, they still serve quality, traditional Durban cuisine to both locals and visitors to Cape Town.

Curry Quest is now a well-established, renowned family business located in Kenilworth priding themselves on the emphasis on delicious food and personal attention.

Since its establishment, this restaurant has gained popularity and many regular customers.
