Alarm Systems:

Gates not running correctly, making a noise or hard to push in manual mode are a sign failed wheel bearing or worn track. If gate starts and stops before fully closing or opening can be a sign of this and cause motor gearbox to prematurely to wear out.
When the electricity is off and the gate fails to run properly on battery backup, this is a sign that the batteries need replacing.
