DESIGN YOUR OUTDOOR OASIS

Your garden can be an oasis, a place to relax, entertain and enjoy the outdoors. But before you can start enjoying it, you need to design it. Here are a few tips for designing your outdoor oasis: 

Start with a vision.
What do you want the area to be like? Do you want a place to relax and unwind? A place to entertain guests? A place for the kids to play? Once you know what you want, you can start to plan your design.

Consider the space.
How much space do you have to work with? If you have a small garden, choose space-saving furniture and features. If you have a large garden, you have more options.

Think about the flow.
How do you want people to move through your backyard? Do you want a clear path from the house to the patio? Do you want to create different seating areas? The flow of the area should be comfortable and inviting.

Choose the right furniture.
The furniture you choose will set the tone for your oasis. Choose comfortable, weather-resistant furniture if you want a relaxed and casual space. If you want a more formal space, choose elegant furniture that will withstand the elements.

Add some greenery, include a water feature and update your lighting.
