As the festive season arrives and we gather with family, we’re reminded of how powerful kindness can be—especially for the animals who depend on us in their hardest moments.
This year, our Donate for My Dinner campaign carries a very special meaning.
It reminds us of animals like Luna.
Luna arrived at ARO desperately ill, suffering from a severe case of pyometra, a life-threatening uterine infection.
Her treatment involved complex surgeries, intensive nursing, and continuous feeding—the kind of care that would have been incredibly costly in private practice. But because ARO exists to serve all communities in need of assistance, Luna received every procedure, every meal, and every moment of dedicated attention she needed to survive.
There were moments when we didn’t know if she would make it. But slowly, meal by meal, day by day, Luna began to regain her strength. Thanks to expert treatment, gentle care from our team, and the nourishment that keeps recovering animals going, Luna pulled through.
After almost 2 weeks with ARO, she is back home, healthy, safe, and loved.
And her recovery was only possible because supporters like you help us keep animals fed throughout their treatment—no matter how long their healing journey takes.

🌲 Your personalised message goes onto our ARO Christmas Giving Tree.
🎁 If it’s a gift, we send you a letter to give to your loved one.
Each food item equals one message on the tree:

✨ Want multiple messages for different friends? Simply add multiple food items to your cart.
Once your message is placed, we’ll send a photo and a thank-you.
Your gift helps us care for the animals who need us most—through Christmas and beyond.
