MEET CUBA

This handsome big boy was brought in to ARO by his concerned owners due to excessive vomiting.

After being admitted, Cuba had an x-ray done and immediately something stood out. His stomach was then drained of all the fluid which had accumulated and our team was ready to spring into action.

Within minutes our brilliant Vet successfully found the culprit behind Cuba’s upset stomach. A friend turned enemy – it was none other than a rubber ball! Cuba had managed to swallow his favourite toy and although we admire his playful spirit, the ball simply had to be removed.

Feeling a lot better, Cuba can now make a full recovery and get back to doing what he loves thanks to our amazing veterinary team!

Well done to our Vet and well done to Cuba’s owners for their swift action. We wish him a speedy recovery! Yay for Cuba!
