I’m Epic, the ARO Spokesdog. When I was brought to ARO as a tiny pup, I was cold, scared, and injured. But thanks to kind people like you, I got my first soft, warm blanket — and let me tell you, it felt like a hug I’d been waiting for my whole life.
Now I’m 1 year old, and I’m lucky to snuggle into my blanket every night. But so many of my friends out there aren’t as lucky.
This Mandela Day, ARO is putting together 670 Pet Bags for dogs and cats in need. Each bag will have something very special: a blanket to keep them warm through the cold winter nights.

This is me on my first day at ARO. Everyone made me feel so loved, warm and cosy. Can you believe I was ever this tiny!
Now I live with my new mom, with lots of brothers and sisters (human and furry) who snuggle me all the time!
This is my friend Snowy. Her mom Rolene loves her so much and was so grateful to receive her Pet Bag with all sorts of goodies for Snowy!
