April is Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Month—a time to reflect on how we can make the world safer and kinder for our furry friends. At ARO, we believe that preventing cruelty isn’t just about stopping abuse—it’s about addressing the root causes.
🐾 Education: Many pet owners don’t intentionally neglect their animals; they simply don’t know better. That’s why ARO actively engages with communities through our Mobile Clinics, providing knowledge on responsible pet care, nutrition, and humane treatment.
🐾 Sterilisation: Overpopulation leads to countless stray animals suffering on the streets. Through our sterilisation program, we reduce unwanted litters and, in turn, decrease abandonment, neglect, and cruelty.
🐾 Primary Health Care: When pets don’t receive medical care, their suffering is silent but immense. Our clinics offer affordable treatment, vaccinations, and preventative care to stop unnecessary pain and neglect.
