Welcome to 33SouthChurch,

We are a newish church plant in Harfield Village, in the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town, born out of 1 Kings 17 and led by Kieran & Glenda McClean. We planted a church in East London and led it for 14yrs, we handed it over a few years ago. We also served on the NCMI Team for 10yrs serving churches in Europe and Africa.

33south is a bunch of Jesus followers DOING LIFE TOGETHER in Community. We don’t have a Vision/ Mission statement, but we have 5 huge Core values that will guide this church into its future. Faith, Family, Friends, Food and Fun, and we are STORY HUNTERS .

We have been clearly shown to plant 33southchurch in Cape town, but to do church differently. Just the name 33South is an amazing story of how God led us here.

We relate not to one specific movement, but to Eph 4 friends whose gifting’s we recognise, whose friendship is valued, and who will help build this amazing church.

So we meet in our Kitchen and Lounge , just as we see in the book of Acts. We Bake our own Artisan Sourdough Bread, Eat Great Olives that we make ourselves, Drink wine from this region, Love our coffee and Tea, Eat Home Made meals together, tell stories about Jesus, Pray, worship, I do teaching when we need it, we Laugh Loud, we are passionate about the Journey, we LOVE LIFE, WE DO IT TOGETHER, and we cannot believe we live in this amazing City and Village.

We meet Thursdays at 7pm at my place, THE DECK, at 25 Norfolk Str, Harfield village, We also meet on Sundays at 6-00pm for a meal, stories, prayer, worship and teaching. DO COME !
