Animal Rescue Organisation has 3 charity shops in the Western Cape.

ARO gladly accepts all donations of unwanted goods, no matter how small or big. The funds raised are used to alleviate the suffering and abuse of unwanted animals in and around the Western Cape.ARO focuses on sterilisation and education. Books, DVD’s, clothing, toys, shoes, appliances (working order), linen, curtains, baby goods and furniture are just some of the items that we sell in our shops.

Larger donations can be collected by our driver by prior arrangement.

ARO recently launched MASU (mobile animal sterilisation unit). This unit enables ARO to travel to far-reaching places to provide veterinary services and carry out sterilisation campaigns. These campaigns are co-ordinated with local animal welfares that are in desperate need of veterinary assistance.
