Village Nannies was created in 2003. Owner, Tania and her partner, Janice, have worked with children for many years. All our nannies have at least two year’s experience with babies and toddlers.

We are a small business, run from home, doing permanent placements of nannies and child-carers.

The nannies are thoroughly screened, their English assessed and all references are carefully checked. They are then interviewed by Tania and Janice. Qualities such as trust, reliability, caring and an ability to stimulate children are needed.

Three ladies are sent to the client for an interview. The candidate that is chosen is given a trial of one week so that the employee as well as the employer can see if they are suitable for the position. If everybody is happy, Tania assists with the signing of a contract. They offer a three-month warranty period as well as a mediation and support service.
