A GIFT THAT BECOMES A MEMORY

This Valentine’s Day, skip the chocolates and give something that turns into a memory.

Surprise someone special with swimwear they’ll actually use – stylish bikinis, flattering one-pieces and comfy shorts that say, “Let’s make a day of it.”

Pack a picnic, head to the beach, soak up the sun and create moments that last longer than flowers ever could.

Because the best gifts aren’t things… they’re experiences shared together.

GUTTER MAINTENANCE ESSENTIALS

Your home’s gutters are a crucial defence mechanism, quietly working to channel rainwater safely away from the roof, walls and foundation. When gutters are blocked, standing water can rapidly cause costly damage, leading to leaks and decayed fascia boards. Read more here.

URGENT CALL FOR WATER SAVINGS AS CAPE TOWN DAM LEVELS DROP

With our dam levels currently at 66,3% and annual rainfall significantly lower than in previous years, residents are encouraged to reduce water usage wherever possible to conserve our water supply.

While taps are not at risk of running dry at this stage, continued high water use could rapidly change the situation and result in restrictions unless consumption is brought down urgently. Early proactive measures are far more effective than emergency restrictions so let’s reduce our usage and be water wise.

Tips to help reduce water usage:

  • Find and fix water leaks on your property

  • Monitor your usage and save water where possible

  • Report burst municipal pipes immediately

  • Switch to treated effluent re-use for industrial irrigation or construction usage

Report a fault

Use one of the channels below to report a water issue and remember to provide an exact location or street address.

For additional resources and more water-saving tips, visit our Saving water page.
