Hi! We’re Anita and Sam Saunders, a mom and daughter-in-law combo who run Hometown Harvest Food Club and we are part of a greater Food Club community.
This community is a group of like-minded people who are concerned about health and environmental impacts of what they eat. Every month we band together to buy food directly from small-scale farmers and producers.
Our job as hosts is to place the orders from these amazing farmers and producers, receive the goodies at our home, and then get the produce ready for our “market” day (the day that you, the member, will collect from us).
It’s really is a special way to buy food, with fewer trips to the shops, and more importantly superior quality and nutrient-dense food that has minimal impact on the environment. Becoming a part of our hub means getting your hands on delicious, locally sourced produce, connecting with like-minded individuals, and being part of a community that is dedicated to fostering a sustainable lifestyle.
Together we have the power to effect meaningful change by supporting our local farmers, reducing our carbon footprint, all while enjoying what nature really has to offer!
So if you’re interested in real food, sustainability, and being part of a larger movement, we invite you to become part of our food revolution.
