ABSENCE OF SPOUSE’S CONSENT FOR BANK LOAN: WHAT NOW?
This is a gentle reminder that if someone applies for a loan, ticks the box “unmarried” on the application form and signs an affidavit to that effect, he/she cannot cry foul afterwards because his/her spouse’s consent was not obtained, as required by law.
