MyCiti ROADWORKS ON IMAM HARON ROAD
Important information about the MyCiti roadworks commencing soon on Imam Haron Road. As well as about the upcoming information session on 18 February.
The City of Cape Town will commence with the construction work related to the roll-out of the MyCiTi bus service to Claremont within the next four weeks. The contractor will, as from this week, set up their site camp and storage facilities on the corner of Imam Haron (M24) and Chichester Roads.
Residents and commuters are advised in advance that the first work will be happening as from March 2025 in the vicinity of Stanhope Road and the Stanhope railway bridge that connects Main Road (M4) with Palmyra Road. Find out more here.

Dear Residents,
Unfortunately, the Polyphagous Shot Hole Borer beetle (PSHB) has been spotted in Harfield Village. We urge all residents with trees on their properties to inspect them as a matter of urgency.
Some of the tree species affected in Cape Town include:
Boxelders, London Planes, English Oaks, Beef Wood, Weeping Willow, Cape Chestnut, Sweet Viburnum, Black Locust, Paperbark, Liquid Amber, Chinese Cottonwood and Maples.
The PSHB poses a serious threat to Cape Town’s urban forest, as infested trees often need to be chipped to contain the spread.
How to report PSHB sightings:
Call the City of Cape Town’s Invasive Species Unit at 021 444 2357, Monday to Friday, 07:30–16:00
Contact Fine Feathers Sewing School now to book your place in a class or secure private lessons. WhatsApp: 079-244-2798.
