JULY IN THE GARDEN

As we haven’t had much rain yet this winter, we are still hoping for enough rain to fill our dams. Hence the plant list is shorter than other months. Here’s the July plant list.

Broad Beans, Beetroot, Chard/Spinach, Cape Gooseberry, Celery, Chives, Chili Peppers, Lettuce, Onion, Parsley, Peas, Potato, Radish, Tomato.

Remember that planting in the right months gives plants the best chance for optimum growth. Take note of what’s in season in the shops too when you’re buying.
