WHAT DID I LEARN DURING THE PANDEMIC?
My dear father passed away after a 3-year battle with bowel cancer at the age of 77, just as the pandemic struck.
It left our family in total shock. He was well enough in February 2020, to take my Mum on holiday but suddenly became very ill. In our funeral tribute to him my two older brothers, older sister and I wrote that “he was the best Dad anyone could ever have.”
