As South Africans, we’ve all been facing new challenges as measures are put in place to curb the spread of the global Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. As Autumn approaches, so does Easter which may be very different this time during COVID-19. We hope families use this time to reflect, giving in to more family time. While we are living in an unprecedented time, Harfield Village Online is committed to continue to bring monthly newsletters to our residents and neighbours.

This month’s newsletter is, once again filled with great articlescompetition prizes with a total value of R1,090, things to do with the kids during Lockdown, specials, all of which are thanks to our regular contributors. Also in this newsletter are new and updated business listings as well as the latest properties for sale from Norgarb Properties, our sponsors.

Corona Virus

Message from Lew Norgarb – COVID-19

It’s been nearly a week since South Africa entered into COVID-19 Lockdown and surely it’s been a challenging time for everyone. Schools have closed, most businesses in the Village have shut doors and regular routines have been broken. But communities certainly have come together in the fight against this Pandemic. We thank all those residents and neighbours who have been adhering to the Lockdown Regulations and encourage you all to continue to #StayHome.

It isn’t easy to suddenly have to make these drastic changes, but given the scary statistics we are faced with, the more we follow the measures put in place, the sooner we can heal and get through this challenging time. We commend the businesses that have closed, and some that continue to work in the background. We understand the financial implications this may have but when this is all over, we wish your business prosperity and success.

To our residents and neighbours who will be celebrating Easter – while this may be a very different Easter, not being able to spend time with family and friends, Easter symbolizes the renewal of life. We wish you and your family the renewal of life, love, and happiness.

Last week, Norgarb Properties sent a notification to all its clients and business partners and wish to share the same with you.

Our offices are closed until further notice regarding COVID-19 Regulations. However, our Team continues to work remotely.

Our landline number will not be available during this time, but you can call us on our office mobile number on 082 297 2970 for any queries. You can also contact our agents directly on their mobile numbers, which are listed on our website at www.norgarbproperties.co.za.

We appreciate the co-operation and understanding of our clients during this challenging time.

Take Care and Be Safe.

With South Africa in Lockdown, not everything needs to be doom and gloom. We have amazing members of our community that have been working to help people in need. There are great activities to keep the little ones busy at home. And we still have some essential businesses that are open and operating in The Village. Let’s join together (from a distance) and support each other in this challenging time.

We highlight some of the stories, activities and updates from local businesses!
