Blossoms on the trees, flowers blooming everywhere, and we are certainly ready for Spring after an extended period of Winter hibernation and home-stays during the various levels of ‘lockdown’.
It is time to get out into the garden, a green-space which can be beneficial to health and well-being, and enjoy planting seedlings and plants which bring you joy!

DOES YOUR WARDROBE NEED RE-MODELING
Fine Feathers Sewing School offers just that and many other aspects in sewing.
Alterations, Re-Modeling your Retro or Vintage Clothing and/or Up-Cycle your Wardrobe are just some of the offerings.
To remodel your wardrobe: 1) Make an appointment; 2) bring a few items of clothing to Sharon; 3) discuss, and transform your wardrobe together.
The initial hour-long appointment will set you back only R150. Sharon will advise what is possible & suitable to transform your clothing. Sometimes small changes, or a minor adjustment, can make all the difference. After the initial consultation, Sharon charges R75 an hour.
Another of Sharon’s offerings is “Hems in a Hurry” from R75 for a simple hem increasing in price for the more complicated ones (due to cut or fabric). If you are able to sew yourself, Sharon can fit and cut the item for you to sew in your own time, in your own home.
