How time flies –

As the temperatures start to drop both early mornings and in the evenings we are reminded of the approaching winter season while we still enjoy lovely warm autumn days.

We trust and hope that everyone stays healthy during this trying time and warm as the cold season approaches.

One again this month’s newsletter is packed with great articles, competition prizes valued at over R2,400, and specials, all of which are thanks to our regular contributors.

New and updated business listings are also displayed in this newsletter as well as the latest properties for sale from Norgarb Properties, our sponsors.

Norgarb Properties concludes its first “Lockdown Sale”

Team Norgarb is incredibly proud to have concluded their very first Lockdown Sale for the Harfield Village area.

This indicates that despite the Coronavirus Pandemic and restrictions placed on Estate Agents, there is still some movement in the market place especially if a property is priced correctly. We would like to reassure our current and future sellers that we continue to receive daily enquiries on our listings – a most positive sign that properties situated in the Southern Suburbs (our area of expertise) can still be viewed as an excellent return on investment.

LIST YOUR HOME WITH US

When you put your property on the market, you want it sold. And you don’t want it to take forever.  Are you ready to work with an agency that exemplifies true results?

We understand the real estate market and we’ve mastered the art of showing and marketing a home. Give us a call on 082 894 1004 and let our experience work for you.

With Lockdown Level 4 in effect and many returning to work this week, there has been much confusion as to what is allowed and what is still not permitted. With restrictions slightly relaxed, South Africans are encouraged to still prioritise the fight against Covid-19. This includes washing hands regularly, wearing a mask when going out for essential goods, work or medical treatment and practising social distancing.

Here is a list of what you can and cannot do under level 4 lockdown:

Harfield Village Association (HVA) COVID 19 Emergency Relief Plan

The HVA “Campaign of Goodness”
Before the dramatic unfolding of the Covid 19 crisis, the HVA took a decision at its monthly committee meeting on 3 March 2020 to engage with civic associations in Hanover Park with a view to developing a meaningful and respectful dialogue.

The goal of this dialogue would be to explore ways in which to build sincere and genuine bridges and provide developmental support between the two communities, which are geographically only 10 minutes from each other but worlds apart in manner of living.

The Covid 19 crisis accelerated the importance of developing this initiative with the extremely important and immediate need for food aid to some of the most at-risk and destitute families in Hanover Park.

Just prior to lockdown on 24 March the HVA embarked on a passionate “Campaign of Goodness” to reach out to our neighbours in Hanover Park to investigate how the Harfield Village and surrounding areas can assist and support during this crisis and going forward into the future.
